Hallmark can claim considerable success in its ongoing effort to successfully export all American, non-national holidays. However, they haven't yet completed the accompanying training manual.
French children say, very politely and formally, "Excusez-moi. Est-ce que vous avez des bonbons?" ("Excuse me, would you have any candy?") And all the girls dress as witches.
Certainly nothing as creative yet as my nephew's wicked Toxic Waste costume.
Oh, and just because I like saying it, I'll be going to Paris tomorrow for the night.
And finally, a quick pic from a recent "Wine and Cheese Tasting" session. The wine wasn't top shelf, but since they poured 5 full glasses for 10 EUR, and since it's hard to really cut corners with cheese, it was a good bargain.
