Who could NOT love this goofy goddaughter of mine? Come on...I dare ya.
And in a location as beautiful as Ascain/St. Jean-de-Luz, an area which perfectly combines summer frolics with a certain down to earth quality that keeps it from becoming silly or tacky.
As always, I am extremely grateful to M. de X for his hospitality, good food, and great wine.
And, in this case, I'm also grateful to one of my closest friends, Geoffroy, for affording me the opportunity, once again, to spend time with my second family, even though he could only be present by phone. Next year in Phoenix.
Meredith, tell Geoffroy the story of the "herring" patronus ;)
And finally, to Mme. Y, play on :)
A plus tard.
P.S. Apologies to the interested parties for the delay, but I seem to have taken 627 photos. Some editing has been required. This is simply meant to fill the gap.
